Blends

Our sole goal in blending coffees is enhanced flavor. We endeavor to blend coffees with flavor elements that enhance each other.  We do not blend expensive coffee with inexpensive coffee to bring down cost. Rather our approach is that a blend of coffee ought to enhance the flavor experience of each of the coffees in the blend. An important element in that approach is that the coffees are each roasted separately to their own optimized roast, and then blended. Blending before roasting means coffees that require different roasts are roasted together in a roast that will not be optimum for one or more of the coffees.
